Someone who cannot afford the `Aqiqah

A: If the reality is exactly as what is mentioned in the question that you do not have enough money and that your income is only sufficient for your expenses and those of your dependents, there is no blame on you for not drawing closer to Allah (Exalted be He) by offering `Aqiqah for your children. The foregoing is supported by the saying of Allah (Exalted be He): Allâh burdens not a person beyond his scope. And His saying: ...and He has not laid upon you in religion any hardship And His saying: So keep your duty to Allâh and fear Him as much as you can Moreover, it is authentically reported that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: When I command you to do anything, do of it as much as you possibly can, and when I forbid you to do anything, then abandon it , and when something is made easy for you, it is prescribed on you to do it.May Allah grant us success.
